This is the face of a someone who just started therapy....again.

My mental health treatment has spanned nearly two decades of my life. I started therapy for the very first time when I was 20. While I haven't seen a therapist consistently over the last 20 years, I find myself coming back to her when I feel like I need help navigating a particularly difficult time.

Like Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall.. we all experience different seasons of our lives. Periods of darkness like winter, periods of rebirth and re-building like Spring, or the changing of things like Fall.

....anyways owning a small business is proving to be a challenging season in my life.

It's a season of highs & lows, of uncertainty but also learning to trust myself. It's a season of setting boundaries and understanding that I simply cannot do all the things. It's a season of shifts and pivots, of learning to be flexible yet finding the strength to uphold a sense of rigidity when I'm fighting for something that I really believe in. It's a season of taking major RISKS but also taking the time to re-evaluate and be purposeful.

Turn to a friend, a family member, a co-worker, your primary care doctor, or like me, a therapist. There is no shame in seeking help and to receive it, is a gift that ME and YOU should never take for granted.
